4 month well baby check up

Monday Annabelle had her four month visit with the doctor. She is 25 1/4 inches long and weighs 15 lbs 12 ounces. Jason must have been right when he said they measured her long at her 2 month appointment. I know she has grown more than 1/4 of an inch in two months or at least she looks like she has. I am amazed that she weighs as much as she does, she hides it well in her clothing just like her momma. When her clothes are off though that is another story, she has rolls all over lol. She has gained 6 lbs in the four months since she was born. She is very healthy, has very clean ears and the doctor is impressed at just how healthy she was. She is developmentally where she should be or slightly above. The things he told us she would start doing in the next two months like talking and probably crawling just do not seem real. She just seems too little to be doing those things. She already isn't our little baby anymore. He told us to put off baby food until next month which her daddy likes. Jason didn't like that we tried to feed her mashed potatos on Easter. He may just not have liked the fact we sent Conner to get him and wake him from his nap :) Jason!Jason!HURRY! lol. She has been on cereal for a month - the dr said we could start giving her oatmeal (ooopss I already had been) and barley. The barley he said was hard to find, we found some at Kroger probably a good thing too since it was a close out item.

She had more vaccinations and her reaction was pretty much the same as it was at 2 months. Cried just a little and was fine. Momma didn't cry this time and was able to distract Annabelle with her froggie. Monday night she started screaming though and we don't know if maybe her shots hurt her after all or if it was because her nose was stuffy. We gave her some tylenol and she was fine. I don't like to see my baby get that upset. We go back in two more months to see how much more she has grown.
