Cutting back

My ultimate goal after the birth of Welch #2 is to be able to stay at home and take care of both of my babies.  We have been trying to think of ways that we can cut back so that this can become a reality.  Each time we think of something something else comes up that we have to spend money on.  This economy is so weird right now you never know what will happen.  We are going to be poor whether or not I work so I think I should just stay home.  Most of the money I make will be going to pay for my babysitter who is excellent btw and I have no complaints about that.  I know that we still pay less for a sitter than most people and I am very appreciative of that fact.  We have a better one than most people do as well.  I'm just worried that we will not be able to keep using her, especially if we have winters like the one we have had this week.  We are fortunate in the fact we don't have many bills, student loans being our biggest.  In all reality our student loan bills are less than most peoples so thats another fact I'm grateful about.  Sometimes, well a lot of times, I think that if we didn't live in Lexington we wouldn't have a problem with me being able to stay home.  Or that it would be easier if we had people around who could help keep them.  We have been lucky this week that there hasn't been school and mom has been able to help.  It is hard when you live away from family.  I just hope there is a way that we can make it work and I am able to stay home.

Two Years!

To my beautiful girl on your twenty fourth month of life!

You are so precious, daddy and I love you so.  We can not believe that you are turning two years old today.  We have a big party planned, Yo Gabba Gabba! of course, and can't wait for you to see your friends and have a great day.  We didn't get to make it as grand as last year's party but we still think you will enjoy it.  We just got back from our cruise last week, you LOVED it.  Then again, you love most things.  You are a little brown biscuit again and your hair got even blonder.  Everyone on the cruise just thought you were the greatest and cutest little thing.  Most of them knew your name and how old you were by the time we left that place.  You are such a little show off with such a grand personality.  You hunted for monkeys in the rain forest while we were gone and just behaved so well on our trip.  We are very lucky that you are such a great traveler.  We started you at an early age so maybe thats it.  Soon your baby brother/sister will be here and you will have to pass all of your wonderful traits on to them.  Another milestone that happened in the past month was we stopped nursing.  Mommys milk started to leave due to the baby and instead of letting you nurse until it came back daddy and I decided it was time.  Although my plan had been to let you wean when you were ready you have still done very well with this change.  In the end I think that you were ready too.  Daddy is going to have to have surgery in the next week and he won't be able to hold you.  It will break his heart, I hope you do very well with daddys boo boo.  You are such a daddys girl, it is precious :) I wouldn't have it any other way.  We are so lucky that you are our girl.  We love you so much!

MOMMA!
