I feel like the luckiest person in the world most of the time. I have an absolutely great child who just has the best personality. She is such a laid back baby who has a ferocious temper (yes that is possible ha) if you do not do what she wants the moment she wants it done. Sounds a little familiar :) She smiles all the time, when she wakes up crying all you have to do is smile and her and she is alright. She loves her daddy getting her ready in the mornings and putting diapers on her head. In the past week Jason has taught her to hold her feet while she is getting changed. It is hilarious. He showed her one time and now anytime she is changed she does that. If she is on the changing table she holds her left food with her left hand and holds onto the table with her right hand. She is so funny. A couple nights ago we had a yelling match. She has learned she can control the sounds she makes and that if she moves her mouth different ways she makes different sounds. She really does sound like a banchee. If you ever see the Monster Quest of a wild banchee in Lexington, KY know that it is really just Annabelle running around in the back yard yelling. She may be talking by six months after all. The doctor told us to expect to hear "momma" and "dadda" by June.
The new thing that we are trying to get her to do is pat her hands together. When we do it in front of her she loves it. She watches and laughs. She watches everything and takes it all in. She is observant like her momma and silly like her daddy I guess. If her personality is anything like her daddys I am in trouble - the world is in trouble! In the past when I would clap her hands together she just keeps her hands in fists. Now she is relaxing them more. In a week or two she will be doing it. Who knows she may do it tonight. She rolls a lot now, not completely over but from side to side. She does it so perfectly its like she has always been doing it. When she was little bitty she rolled over to her side a couple times. By the middle of next week she will probably be rolling completely over. She is sitting very well by herself, when she starts to drop down she will stop herself and kind of straighten herself up. She is just too precious and adorable.
