20 Weeks!

If I were pregnant, we would have found out the sex this week lol. Annabelle is doing wonderfully well. She is such a happy little baby. She gets soooo excited when the cats come around her. She tries to jump out of our arms to get to them. She will rub on Pootie and then start pulling on her hair. Pootie doesn't mind it, actually I think she enjoys it. She will lay right beside her at night as if she is protecting her. When we first brought Annabelle home we sat her in the car seat on our bed and Pootie walked up to her, circled her then smelled her. After that she laid at the bottom of the car seat and has been her buddy ever since. Scottie pretty much stays just far enough that Annabelle can't get to her. Kate just gets worried when she hears Annabelle crying.

Speaking of Kate, it has been almost a week since she has been in our house. She loves this weather and hasn't wanted to come in. Jason can not bring himself to put her kennel up though. It is still in the living room. I am happy that she is outside. That is where she should be :) I don't mind though her sleeping in the house when its bad out or cold but she makes the living room so dusty and dirty. I actually kept my house clean until we got her. She is a good dog though, and is especially a good guard dog. Someone was on the trail behind our house at 11 pm last night and she let us know it. It sounds like she is going to rip someones head off but she wouldn't hurt a fly.

Back to Annabelle - she learned to blow raspberries this week. It is one of the funniest things I have seen in awhile. The other funny thing is when we put her in the bath, she arches her back and won't go. She peed in the water the other night while she was doing that. Needless to say Jason poured her some more water. She thought it was funny and so did we haha. She also peed on Jason last night when he was changing her. It had been awhile since that happened. She found humor in that also. I think she is going to have her daddys sense of humor which is a good and a bad thing. Jason pretty much thinks everything is funny. He is real mature that way :)

We have started giving Annabelle 2-3 bottles of oatmeal a day. It is mixed with breast milk and she really likes it. She has been a good night sleeper for a long time, but is starting to be a better napper. Her granny is with her today and she slept until 7:30. She and granny like to nap a lot when they are together, they napped for almost 3 hrs last night on the couch. The longest nap of Annabelle's life lol. Granny watched her Saturday while we went to see the Braves play the Reds. Since it has been so nice and warm here she has been wearing only a diaper. She looks so cute. When Jason doesn't have a shirt on and she is only in a diaper they look so much alike. Due to the nice weather she has been able to wear her dresses when we go out. She is so pretty. She has moved up to her big girl stroller and enjoys it. She likes going for walks with her mommy and daddy.

Today we get our building delivered and get all the junk out of the basement so we can make Annabelle a play room. I am excited for that. I have thought about moving our actual living room down stairs and just making the upstairs a sitting area with my books. I love books, I know I should probably get a hand held reader thing but I love to buy books. Plus I am afraid I would get a headache trying to read off one of those. It will never happen though because neither me nor Jason will ever move that big ol 800lb tv we have upstairs. I almost cut my toe off putting it up the first time. We will never go to LCD in the living room, ever, because of that tv lol. My books will probably just move downstairs.
