Yesterday was very special for me. Jason made me a card that he and Annabelle signed. It was very sweet. Jason is very creative he made all of the grandmothers and great-grandmothers cards as well. Mine was the most special though :) I got a card from Annabelle Friday that they had made at the sitters. I love it so much! It has her little hand prints all messed up on it. It is so cute. I am so thankful that I have a great sitter and her husband who takes such great care of her. Jason gave me my presents on Tuesday. He couldn't stand that he had bought them and I didn't try to look. He kept saying, "someone has some presents in there, you can have them if you want." I didn't want but he kept on until he just brought them to me. Not wrapped, just gave them to me in the Target bag. Where did my super thoughtful husband go? lol I got a nice digital picture frame, a memory card and a book of photography with black & white images of Native Americans. I had been wanting that for awhile. We grilled some chicken and went to the park. Annabelle & I went for a walk while daddy & Kate played. Kate was really worried when we walked out of her view so she didn't play as much as normal. I thought that was very sweet. Yesterday was just a good day all around. Jeremy, Scot & Tara all stopped by last night and we had a good visit. Annabelle loved all the attention and activity. It was a perfect way to end the day. It was also sad in a tiny way because I will never again have a first mothers day but now I am looking forward to Jason's first fathers day.
I never appreciated how special Mothers Day was until I became a mother myself. I hope my sister & I always made them good for our mom. We all love her very much and she deserves it.
