24 Weeks!

Thursday has always been one of my favorite days of the week. There is only one more day of work left and you get to anticipate the weekend. I now think this is why Thursday has been my favorite day, because my baby would be born on a Thursday. I love this little fact about her.

She sits up like a champ, she tries so hard to pull herself up and succeeds sometimes. She smiles always and laughs even more than she smiles. She has found Kate and loves her. She gets sooooo excited to see her animals that she squeals. It is so cute. Her hair has started to grow a little, sometimes I think it will be blonde and other time dark brown. My hair was blonde until I was about 4 or so...then it got dirty blonde and it has been dark brown since about 1st grade or so (maybe sooner). Jason had light hair but I figured my skin tone, hair and eyes would be more dominant. So far her eyes have not decided if they will be brown, in fact they are hardly dark brown anymore at all. Now they go from hazel to green.

Annabelle is babbling a little. It is adorable when she talks to the people we see in stores. She is trying her hardest to say "Hi!" Dadda is working on getting her to say dadda. So far there has been no response but its always good to keep trying. She has been eating sweet potatos and I don't know that she cares for them very much. She didn't particularly like carrots either but tonight we tried squash and she LOVED them.

We have such a sweet baby, I am so happy to have her. She is almost six months old. Then she will be a year, then she will be grown. So sad! We are going all out for her first birthday. Her daddy tends to not make a big deal out of things but this we agree has to be big. I already know what her first present will be. I am awful I know, I got over six months to think about this. I just want it as close to perfect as it can be.

I am going to schedule pictures for six months. We are going to the beach at the end of June and I can not wait to take pictures of her in the sand.
