22 Weeks!

My beautiful girl turned another week old today. She barely resembles the baby I brought home from the hospital. She is so big and stout! Monday I was talking to mom on the phone and she was trying to STAND up. She was holding on to me and pulling up. Later that evening we put her in her walker and she started walking! A month ago she wasn’t able to touch the floor in the walker. Now she is walking – she pushes herself forward sometimes and it is funny. When Jason first sat her down in the walker she started moving and the look on her face was priceless. She was looking at me and she was just shocked, she didn’t know what was going on. Now she goes up and down the hallway chasing the cats. It is cute. We are very thankful to Brody for letting Annabelle borrow his walker and car seat  Brody turns 3 Saturday and I can’t believe it. His party is tomorrow night and we probably won’t be able to make it. It makes me sad that we live away from everyone but especially sad when we miss things like this and Chandlers baseball games. It is starting to get to Jason too; hopefully we will get to see some baseball games on the weekends. I am going to pack some clothes just in case we do decide to go to Clay County tomorrow. If it is nice out we probably will head that way. If not we will just have to miss it and give him his present later. I just thought it would be special for his party to be the first one she goes too.

if the weather clears up we are going to the zoo on Sunday. I can’t wait, it is zoo babies. Jason isn’t big on the zoo but mom, veronica & I love it. Annabelle will love it too  We are going to the beach at the end of June. Jason says he is ready for a vacation. He has been spending lots of time getting things organized in his new position. I know that if he says he is ready for the beach that he must be ready for the beach. Jason hates vacations more than anything lol.

Annabelle has a new noise. It’s like he he he. Kind of sounds like a homer and henry doll. It’s pretty funny. Last night I was so tempted to put her in her bassinet. I chickened out and didn’t though. Jason was gone to his volleyball match and she was asleep before 10. I should have but was afraid she would wake up. I am going to clean it out so that I can set her in there the next time.
Annabelle loves music and has pretty much since the day she was born. Swept Away by the Avett Brother is the first song she heard out of the womb. Her daddy sings it to her sometimes. Tuesday we were at Josh G’s and they were playing and singing. SHE LOVED IT. She just stared and smiled and raised her arm up and down, patting her leg to the beat. It was so sweet to watch. My sweet girl, I don’t know what I’d do without her. Not having her at the house Friday night made me realize how much time we had wasted before we had her. It was just so boring. Now we have her to watch after and every day is something new and exciting. We didn’t know what we were missing.

Three weeks and Kate is still an outside dog. Amazing! Our house is slowly losing the stinky dog smell. I love my dog but she stinks. When this silly rains stops we will finally be able to put up our building that’s been in my drive way for three weeks. We are going to build Kate a nice little dog house and sun shade on the side of it. She should enjoy it a lot. She is funny chasing birds that fly over her head. We like to sit on the back porch with her in the evenings. She seems to enjoy it as well. Maybe one day we will all be able to go for a walk together. Kate gets too excited right now and tries pulling Jason instead of just walking calmly. The babies swing is going to go up when the rain stops too. We have a lot of things that need to be done and not enough time to get it done.

We are thinking about Matt, Bethany & Evelyn today as they wait for the birth of their new baby. We are excited for them and hope everything goes okay today. There seem to be lots of new babies around for Annabelle to play with when they get older. My friend Heather’s baby turns 1 next week. I can’t believe that he is already a year old. At one time last year there were three of us pregnant in this office. Now our babies are all growing too fast 
